The Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative (GPAEI) has appointed Eze Rosemary Peace as a Global Peace Ambassador.
This is as she received the Certificate of Ambassadorship after she emerged as the Global Peace Girl of the Year 2022.
The Certificate was presented to her by the Director General of GPAEI Dr Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim.
According to the organization, the certification acknowledges her tireless journey towards peace and social reforms.
It also said her appointment was confirmed after critical consultations with members of the board of GPAEI.
While reeling out her duties as ambassador, the statement said “Eze’s duties include activities targeted at promoting global Peace as well as the vision of Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative(GPAEI).
“She is saddled with the responsibility to introduce development initiatives and advertise the organization”.
“The 2022 Global Peace Girl of the Year 2022, Eze Rosemary Peace has performed excellently in areas of social campaigns and human empowerment initiatives. She has participated in several anti drug abuse campaigns and has supported the war against substance addiction across communities in Nigeria.
“Rosemary had also participated at a UN program tagged Diplomatic Simulation of the United Nations. The program was organised by Best Diplomats. It was themed “Diplomacy Beyond Barriers”.
Other notable personalities who have been decorated with this outstanding appointment includes, the Chairman of Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Brig -Gen. Buba Marwa as “Global Peace Man of the year 2021” and Life Patron of GPAEI.
The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR was appointed as Global Peace Royal Father and Patron of GPAEI, Rtd Gen Yakubu Gowon GCFR, former head of state appointed as Global Father of the Nation and Patron of the Organization, Her Royal Majesty, Empress Queen Prof. Elham Madani of Vankova, Canada as Global Peace Ambassador and life Matron of GPAEI.
The Emir of Lafia, HRH Sidi Bage Muhammad I, Emir of Keffi Dr Shehu Chindo Yamusa III , the Akibio of ilora, HRH Oba Stephen Olufemi Oyeniyi Oparinde Il and amongst other notable monarchs have been appointed as Patrons of the Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative.
