The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye preached on the Topic; “Enlarging your hunger and thirst for anointing” during the International Youth Convention,IYC’23.
He took the Bible Text from;
Matthew 5:6;Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
God promised that He will satisfy the hungry and the thirsty, so what are you hungry and thirsty for?
In 1st Kings 17:8 – 24 He ended a famine and raised the dead.
In 1st Kings 18: 36 – 39 He brought about a national revival.
“From tonight onwards, when you tell demons to move, they’ll obey.”
“The anointing that all forces of darkness will bow to you, receive it tonight.
2nd Kings 7:1 – 8
“The future of Nigeria will be alright.”
2nd Kings 13:14 – 21
God is not a miser, there’s no amount of anointing that you need that He’ll not need 1st Cor 12:21, He gave you the permission to earnestly covet the best gifts.
Nothing stops the anointing; true anointing will always make a way.
When we talk about hunger and thirst, you can’t get to this goal without prayer and fasting…
“In the name that’s above every other name, you’ll reach the top.”
“As the Lord lives who has called me because I have prayed that my children will be greater than I, you will beat that one.”
The best illustration for enlargement is the balloon. If you want real enlargement, you must be like a balloon, you must surrender and say “God, blow into me.”
At Pentecost, the Holy Spirit blew into the apostles. Peter preached a sermon and won 300 souls. Next day, he saw a lame man, got him by the hand and made him to walk.
In Acts 4: 31, they got a second blowing. This time Peter became somebody who can speak a word and a liar will die, he did not need to speak words for miracles to happen, his shadow was performing miracles, because God enlarged him.
How much breathing can God do without you bursting?
You have to be hungry and thirsty before you can be satisfied.
