The message under discourse is very germane to every believer who wants to be used by God as a channel of blessing to his Church.
We are employees in God’s business and such business is so delicate that it cannot be committed into the hands of everybody, especially the unfaithful.
The Almighty God, Himself, meticulously gave this business to a selected few. As “pilots” in God’s airplane, we must live overboard, character-wise, if we must be entrusted with heavenly riches.
The Church auditorium is so scanty of faithful people today. Characters of some so-called believers are questionable and to the extent that it has become difficult to entrust heavenly treasures into their hands. Those who profess to be faithful should be proven in all areas of life before their justification in this regard.
Believers, especially the male folks, are expected to discipline themselves at all times before the ladies. Job made a covenant with his eyes not to look “upon a maid.” Some tell lies with impunity in the house of God and even in workplaces. While some leaders and pastors steal from the tithes and offerings of the church. Curiously, delay in payment of tithes or offerings is equated with stealing from God. These are criminals in the house of God!
Our lives and characters must portray who we are as Christians: in dressing, conversation and all aspects of life. The corruption that is in vogue in political space is now resident in the Church. Christian leaders are no more faithful to God when it comes to accepting financial favour from politicians. They collect such money and pray for the politicians. God does not answer such prayers. Their messages at the pulpits change whenever a politician is in their midst. It is so sad to see preachers gather to pray for seekers of political office and even make different false prophecies and predictions of victory. They do this after collecting fat envelopes from them.
Churches have been infested with diverse corrupt practices because of unfaithful people in them. It is so appalling that the Church of Christ has become a citadel of corruption, where evil thrives. The Lord is not perturbed by these unscrupulous elements because He remains faithful and cannot deny Himself whatsoever. We must strive to be faithful in all areas of life as believers.
Money is one aspect where some believers prove their unfaithfulness. They borrow money from fellow brethren without paying back, despite all promises to do so at the shortest date. Most times, the reactions from the borrowers to the lenders saddens the heart. As believers, we must not behave in this manner or sell our birthright for money.
It is very difficult to recommend some brethren to employers because of unfaithfulness. Some, when recommended, go to such companies to embezzle money and leave a dent in whosoever recommended them.
Integrity is synonymous with faithfulness. A Christian’s word is his bond! Any day a believer’s word is doubted or verified, such believer has backslidden and is no longer in faith. Unfaithfulness has blinded the eyes of people from what God holds for them. This is the reason some people withhold their tithes from the Lord. This unfaithfulness has ridiculed Christians before the enemies. Unfaithfulness separates believers from God and turns every good thing into their opposite — an ugly situation.
God is searching for faithful believers who can throw their wealth into His kingdom project. Kingdom power is at a high speed and faithful people are needed to partner
with God.Remain ever blessed.
